Adaptive Hypermedia and Assistive Technologies

In collaboration with colleagues at CSUEB and beyond, the Laboratory for Adaptive Hypermedia and Assistive Technologies (AHAT) supports interdisciplinary research involving:
- adaptive hypermedia
- digital libraries
- pattern recognition
- human-centered computing
- science of design
- computer science education
Central themes in AHAT research include:
- the design of digital artifacts for informal education in computing
- research into collaborative discovery
- unobtrusive user modeling
- diversifying computer science education
AHAT was established in 2002 with support from the CSUEB College of Science and Math and Computer Science Department.
