Adaptive Hypermedia and Assistive Technologies

In collaboration with colleagues at CSUEB and beyond, the Laboratory for Adaptive Hypermedia and Assistive Technologies (AHAT) supports interdisciplinary research involving:

  • adaptive hypermedia
  • digital libraries
  • pattern recognition
  • human-centered computing
  • science of design
  • computer science education

Central themes in AHAT research include:

  • the design of digital artifacts for informal education in computing
  • research into collaborative discovery
  • unobtrusive user modeling
  • diversifying computer science education

AHAT was established in 2002 with support from the CSUEB College of Science and Math and Computer Science Department.
