Computing Research Methods Multi-Perspective Digital Library (CRM-MPDL)

In March 2005, the ACM Special Interest Group on CS education approved the formation of SigCSE-CSRM, a Committee on teaching Computing research methods to study pedagogy and content for teaching CS research methods. The Committee marked the formal start of a multi-year design research project on the development of computing researchers. The current phase of the project is focused on the production of a scholar-produced digital resource, CRM-MPDL.

While a student may be assigned a question, that student's information need arises from the full context they bring to the question. To generate a willing participatory design community, we chose Unix skills as the topic of our resource. To provide a complete experimental environment, Ahat also hosts a Linux User Group
